Botkuny [bɔtˈkunɨ] (German: Buttkuhnen)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gołdap, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-east of Gołdap and 134 km (83 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
