WMPS (1210 AM, is a radio station broadcasting an Adult Contemporary format.[1] Previously called "Music of Your Life"), WMPS had an Adult Standards music format.[2] Licensed to Bartlett, Tennessee, United States, the station serves the Memphis area. The station is currently owned by Arlington Broadcasting Company.[3]
1210 AM is a United States clear-channel frequency, on which WPHT in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the dominant Class A station.
FM Translator
In addition to the main station at 1210 kHz, an FM translator is used to widen the coverage area, especially at night when WMPS reduces power to 250 watts. The translator frequency is also used on the "Sunny" logo.
