The Volkswagen Phideon (Chinese: 輝昂; pinyin: Huī áng) (Typ 3E) is a mid-size luxury sedan manufactured by German automaker Volkswagen, described by Volkswagen as their "premium class" vehicle. Introduced at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the Phideon is aimed at the Chinese market.[1]
The car features the new Active Info Display which replaced the conventional instrument cluster, and chauffeur mode which allows passengers to send content to the infotainment system. Sales in China officially started in July 2016.
Plug-in hybrid version was launched in 2017.[2]
