Vipin Patwa is a music director and composer who composes music for Bollywood. He is a music director of Hindi films.

Early life

Vipin Patwa, born in Uttar Pradesh to a business family was brought up in Delhi. He started working on his passion for music at the age of 14 when he has started practicing the ragas of music. He learnt music from Pandit Harish Tiwari of the Kirana gharana . He finished his graduation and post-graduation in Indian classical music and also secured an M Phil. degree in music from Delhi University. His M’Phil was on Ghazals and their origins and growth, and to their present existence in today’s society. Along with this, he has also finished his six-year course “Sangeet Prabhakar” which is a prestigious music qualification.[1]

Career

While pursuing his graduation, in 2002, he joined All India Radio (AIR) as a music composer and began composing jingles and songs for the radio station. After that, he composed many theme songs and promotional songs for the Congress party. In January 2009, he started his music career in Mumbai. Vipin got his first break with Joe Rajan’s Luv U Soniyo. He recorded with Bollywood singers like Sonu Nigam, Mika, KK, Shaan, Shreya Goshal, Sunidhi Chauhan and many more. Vipin Patwa has also given his voice in the movie Ye Stupid Pyar (2012) besides his Music direction to the same movie.[2] Sonu Nigam, one of a Bollywood singer has praised Vipin as a composer as well as a singer.Sonu Nigam also called him "Vilakshan".[3] Many noted celebs have complimented Vipin's compositions and called him an immense bundle of talent.[4]

Current projects

Vipin’s current/future projects include Firrkie, Hum Char, Daas Dev, Kaashi in Search of Ganga. He also has upcoming movies for which he is currently designing the music.[5]
