Vijaya Gauri is a 1955 Telugu, Swashbuckling film, produced by Krishna Pictures banner[1] and directed by D. Yoganand.[2] Starring N. T. Rama Rao, Padmini in the lead roles and music composed by G. Ramanathan & Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy.[3]
Plot
Once upon on a time, there was, a small kingdom Mangalapuri under the control of Manipura. The entire Kingdom & the King are under the jurisdiction of Rajaguru. Gunasagara the Prince of Mangalapuri as Janadasu in disguise fighting against Rajaguru and he loves Gauri daughter of a hotel owner. At this time Manipura king orders for the collection of taxes. King sends Prince Gunasagara to Manipura as mediator. In spite of Gunasagara explaining about the draught king orders to pay taxes. King's daughter Raja kumari Vijaya loves Gunasagara at the first sight and gives secretly money to him for paying tax. But Gunasagara thinks she gave money out of the good heart and he does not recognize her love. Maharaja comes to know about Vijaya’s love and sends Veera Simha as an emissary to fix the marriage with Gunasagara but he refuses this alliance. Veera Simha is attracted towards Gauri and wants to take her with him. Gunasagara comes to know about this and fights against it. In the quarrel, Gunasagara receives a head injury and loses his memory. Veerasimha feels that this is the best time to marry Gunasagara to Vijaya Gauri comes in a gypsy dress to see Gunasegara, Vijaya feels jealous about Gauri and wants to remove her from her path. What happens ultimately?
