V. M. Girija

V. M. Girija (born 1961) is one of the women writers[1] of Kerala. She has been working in the All India Radio. Her poems are collected in seven books, Pranayam Oralbum[2](Cochi: Chithira, 1997),Pranayam Oralbum is translated to Hindi by famous critic Dr.A.Aravindakshan. Its name is prem:ek album(Radhakrishna prakasan pvt.ltd-New Delhi,1999), Jeevajalam (Thrissur: Current Books, 2004),paavayunu(sign books,2007), pennugal kanatha pathira neragal (mathrubhumi books,2011), poochayurakkam kscil, 2014[3],kadaloraveedu(logos books:vilayur,palakkad,2015),paavayoonu(illustrated version-kerala sasthra sahithya parishad:thrissur,2015).[4] Irupakshampeduminduvalla Njan (Kothamangalam: Saikatham Books, 2015),[5]She is the wife of noted activist C.R. Neelakandan
