K. Rekha is a Malayalam short story writer. She is a recipient of the I.C. Chacko Award instituted by the Kerala Sahitya Akademi for Arudeyo Oru Sakhavu.[1] She started her writing in Mathrubhumi Balapamkthi, and now works for the Malayala Manorama Daily as a journalist. She received the State Bank of Travancore's best human interest story award for her feature published in Malayala Manorama. She received the Kerala Social Service Society Award for best female journalist.
She serves as an assistant professor of Malayalam at the Bishop Moore College in mavelikara.

Rekha was born in kattur, near Irinjalakkuda, trissur. Her husband works for the Malayala Manorama Daily.
