Ursula Coope

Ursula Coope is a British professor of ancient philosophy.[1][2] Since 2017, she holds the Professorship of Ancient Philosophy in the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Oxford and is a professorial fellow of Keble College, Oxford. Previously she was a tutorial fellow and professor of ancient philosophy at Corpus Christi College, Oxford and global distinguished professor at New York University.[3]

In 1992, Coope graduated with a B.A. in philosophy, politics and economics at Corpus Christi College, Oxford.[4] In 1999 she was awarded her PhD in philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley.[5]
