University of Haripur (Urdu: یونیورسٹی آف ہری پور) is a public sector university situated in Haripur Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8] The university is run by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.[9][10]

Overview and history

University of Haripur is established in 2014 by Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Haripur.[11][10] The university premises is spread over an area of 236 Kanals on the premises of once factory of Rosin and Turpentine. Initially, it was Haripur sub campus of University of Hazara and was established in March 2008. The Haripur campus is then upgraded to full-fledged University of Haripur by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in 2012.[12][13]
