Uloborus rufus is a species of spiders of the family Uloboridae that lives in Cape Verde, the species are also endemic.[1] The species were named by Günter E. W. Schmidt and Rolf Harald Krause in 1995, the same year when Allocosa caboverdensis, Coleosoma africanum and Theridion luteitarse were described.
