Ukiam is a village in Kamrup rural district, situated in south bank of river Brahmaputra.[1] It is in the Assam Meghalaya border. The place is also famous for Picnic goers and sightseeing as the beautiful Kulsi river passes through the place and also two other rivers joins the Kulsi here.

Transport

The village is near National Highway 37 and connected to nearby towns and cities with regular buses and other modes of transportation. The nearest city to Ukiam is Chhaygaon which is about 28 km away. The road has been newly constructed in 2014 and is in good condition. Ukiam its beautiful place.
