Trisula variegata is a moth of the Noctuidae family.[1] It is found in India, Sri Lanka,[2] Nepal, Thailand, South China, Indonesia and Philippines.[3]
Head golden fulvous with black irrorations. Palpi upturned. Antennae ciliated in both sexes. Thorax brown, with fuscous irrorations. Forewing pale, and variegated with suffuse and fuscous. There are indistinct double waved subbasal and antemedial lines. Reniform indistinct. An oblique black band runs across apical area. Marginal series of dark specks. Hindwings yellowish white, with a large black spot at and of cell. Abdomen pale. Underside whitish with cell spots in both wings.[4]
