Thomas "Tommy" Cunningham (born 7 August 1956 in St. Helens, Lancashire), is a former professional rugby league footballer of the 1970s and 1980s. He played at representative level for Wales, and at club level for St. Helens, and Warrington, as a hooker, i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums.[1][2]

Tommy Cunningham played hooker in Warrington's 15-12 victory over Australia at Wilderspool Stadium, Warrington on Wednesday 11 October 1978.[3]
