To the Top is a 2015 Philippine television reality talent show broadcast by GMA Network. Hosted by Christian Bautista, it premiered on July 25, 2015 on the network's Sabado Star Power sa Gabi line up and worldwide on GMA Pinoy TV.[1] The show concluded on September 27, 2015 with a total of 20 episodes.
The winners, Adrian Pascual, Joshua Jacobe, Louie Pedroso, Mico Cruz, and Miko Manguba as they group together forming the newest boy band in the Philippines: Top One Project (T.O.P.).
Format
With the guidance of the country's premier vocal ensemble and internationally acclaimed dance crew, selected young Filipino musical talents will undergo gruelling trainings and talent development. Pressure and tension build, but only those hungry for success will rise above the others and be part of the best all-male vocal group in the country. Experience a new kind of musicality as these boys serenade you, own the dance floor, and perform their hearts out.
The show documented the journey of the young men from being solo artists or members of singing groups to becoming part of the country’s newest boy band.
Judges and staff
Ryan Cayabyab is chairs the competition board of judges that includes Moy Ortiz, Sweet Plantado, and OJ Mariano of The CompanY and also act as vocal coaches. Two-time World Hip Hop Champions Philippine Allstars alumni Madelle and Prince Paltu-ob as well as international breakdancing champion Jesse “Reflex” Gotangco, and the Sound Squad of musical arrangers and sound engineers led by Jonathan Ong and his team from Sonic State Audio—Chino David, Chrisanthony Vinzons, and Brian Lotho.
Photographer Mark Nicdao was also in the early part of the competition helping the guys before the camera.
Finalists
The 25 finalists were later trimmed down to 14. The netizens were tasked to vote for their favorites who were earlier eliminated in the series to become the competition’s wildcards to make up the 18 finalists and they are AJ Ajrouche, Lance Busa, Ken Carpena, Mico Cruz, Cholo dela Cruz, Martin de Vera, Luis Gragera, Joshua Jacobe, MJ Magno, Miko Manguba, Seph Manlapaz, Bryan Olano, JP Palanca, Adrian Pascual, Louie Pedroso, Lharby Policarpio, Edric Ulang, and Chris Yumang. Each showdown, there will be an elimination. The judges will choose 2 weakest members from the teams. The winning team's weakest members will be saved, and those remaining will have sing-off to determine who will continue his journey to the top. From 18, there will only 10 finalist who will remain in the grand finals. Only 5 will be chosen to be a part of GMA's newest boy band, T.O.P. Just this September 27, 5 grand winners were chosen to be a part of the five member boy band called "Top One Project (T.O.P.)", namely Joshua Jacobe, Adrian Pascual, Mico Cruz, Miko Manguba, and Louie Pedroso.
Contenders
Three teams were formed among the eighteen contestants of To The Top with six members per team - A, B, and C. Starting out as the team leader, Miko M was grouped with Adrian and Mico C in Team C, while Louie and Joshua were part of the two other teams - A and B respectively.

Ratings
According to AGB Nielsen Philippines' Mega Manila household television ratings, the pilot episode of To the Top earned a 13.5% rating.[2] While the final episode scored a 9.5% rating.[3]
