Tianshuihai (Chinese: 甜水海) is a town in Aksai Chin, Xinjiang Autonomous Region, China. It is elevated at 4890m.
There is a military station of People's Liberation Army in the town[1]. China National Highway 219, known as Xinjiang-Tibet highway, passes the town, connecting it with Lhasa and Kargilik County.
The town is 575km away from the start point of National Highway 219, located in Kargilik County. Due to high elevation, there are few inhabitants in the remote town but a few restaurants, small lodges and gas stations are still available. [1]
