The Red Line is an upcoming American drama series. It was ordered to series on May 11, 2018 and stars Noah Wyle, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Aliyah Royale, Noel Fisher, Michael Patrick Thornton, Vinny Chhibber, Howard Charles and Elizabeth Laidlaw.[1] The series will premiere in the spring of 2019 as a mid-season replacement.[2]
The Red Line's plot involves a white cop in Chicago who mistakenly shoots and kills a black doctor. It follows three different families with connections to the case, and the story is told from each perspective.[3]
The pilot episode of The Red Line was directed by Victoria Mahoney.
