The Code is an upcoming American drama series written by Limitless creator Craig Sweeny.[1] The military legal drama was ordered to series on May 11, 2018 by CBS. The pilot was directed by Marc Webb.[1] The series is set to premiere as a midseason-replacement on the 2018–19 United States network television schedule.[2]

Production and casting
Dave Annable was cast as the series' male lead,[6] and Mira Sorvino was cast in a major co-starring role,[7] in the series' original pilot, but their roles were recast when it was picked up to series.[8][9] Australian actor Luke Mitchell took over the role of Captain John "Abe" Abraham from Annable.[10] Dana Delany took over the role of Colonel Eisa Turnbull from Sorvino. [11]
