The IIconics (formerly The Iconic Duo) are a villainous professional wrestling tag team currently signed to WWE, performing on the SmackDown brand, consisting of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce.[3][4]

History

WWE

NXT (2016–2018)

The team made their original debut on October 5, 2016 episode of NXT and were later dubbed The Iconic Duo.[5] During their time in NXT, the team received a NXT Year-End Award for "Breakout of the Year" in 2016 and were both nominated for "Female Competitor(s) of the Year" in 2017, though they were unsuccessful at winning the award.[6]

SmackDown (2018–present)

Kay and Royce, now known as The IIconics,[7][8][9] debuted on the April 10, 2018 episode of SmackDown Live, attacking SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair, allowing Carmella to cash in her Money in the Bank contract and defeat Flair to win the championship.[10][11][12] The following week on SmackDown Live, The IIconics picked up their first main roster victory by defeating Asuka and Becky Lynch.[13]

Kay and Royce made their video game debut in WWE 2K18.[14]
