Test Drive: Off-Road 2 (known as Test Drive 4X4 in Europe) is a 1998 multi-platform racing game. It is the second entry in the Test Drive Off-Road series of video games.[1]

Reception

GameSpot said for the PlayStation version, "Surprisingly enough, Test Drive Off-Road 2 winds up being a better-playing racing game than Test Drive 5." GameSpot also rated the game 6.1 (fair). GameSpot said for the PC version, "It's an empty feeling no matter how much air you catch or how many times the rad commentator says "Awesome!" or "Sweeeet!"" GameSpot also rated the game 4.8 (poor).[2]

IGN said for the PlayStation version, "Trucks, buggies, and Hummers await you in Accolade's new racer." This version scored a 5.8 (Mediocre).[3] However, for the PC version, IGN were not too fond of it, stating "Test Drive goes off road alright - and ends up smashing into a big ol' tree." IGN scored the PC version a 4.5 (Bad).[4]
