TD Overdrive: The Brotherhood of Speed (known in the United States as Test Drive) is the seventh installment in the Test Drive series, developed by Pitbull Syndicate and published by Infogrames under the Atari brand name. It was released originally for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox and was later ported to Microsoft Windows. It featured a scary, disfigured man as the main antagonist. [1]

Reception

TD Overdrive: The Brotherhood of Speed received mostly positive reviews from critics. IGN.com stated, "Infogrames' flagship racing title has embraced the fun of arcade driving." They awarded the game a score of 7.3 (Good).[2]

By July 2006, the PlayStation 2 version of TD Overdrive had sold 780,000 copies and earned $23 million in the United States. Next Generation ranked it as the 79th highest-selling game launched for the PlayStation 2, Xbox or GameCube between January 2000 and July 2006 in that country. Combined sales of Test Drive games released for those systems between those dates reached 1.4 million units in the United States by July 2006.[3]
