Tersana Sporting Club (Arabic: نادي الترسانة للألعاب الرياضية), is an Egyptian sports club based in Meet Okba, Giza, Egypt. It is best known for its professional football team, which plays in the Egyptian Second Division, the second-highest league in the Egyptian football league system.
Tersana's most important accomplishments include winning the Egypt Cup title six times and the Egyptian league title once. On the continental side, Tersana also participated in the CAF Cup Winners' Cup once in 1987 and was ousted in the Second round with Tunisian Espérance. The first leg, played in Cairo, ended with a draw, while the second leg, played in Tunisia, ended in a 0–2 loss.
History
The history of the establishment of the Tarsana Club in 1921 by the English Major Slauter, the first president of the club, at a time when Egypt was under British Protectorate, was the first headquarters in the area of Bulaq, and then transferred to Agouza, Finally he was transferred to his current headquarters in Mit Okba, specifically in 1958.
The main reason for its establishment was to serve the staff of the Emiratisation workshops of the Maritime Administration (currently the Ministry of Irrigation), so it was called Tersana, This is the secret of wearing the blue color "sea and water color".
There have been many rumors about the secret of the launch of the title «Hummers» on the Tarsana players, but the most famous novel that it came because of the team's hardness with the team, and the fusion of the Fedayeen, so launched the great sports critics Abdul Majid Noman and Najib Almstkawi the title of Hummers after the intervention of Fouad Gouda, defender Tersana, on foot Saleh Selim and cause injury.

Mit Okba Derby
The Mit Okba Derby, is a football match between Egyptian clubs Tersana SC and Zamalek SC.
The rivalry
Ever since their creation, both clubs have been the top clubs in the Egyptian Premier League, the country's top-flight football league. In the first half of the twentieth century. Tersana SC won their first league title when the Egyptian Premier League in the 1962-63 season. Zamalek managed to win the league 12 times.
