Aluminium is an Egyptian football club based in Nag Hammâdi.
The club returned to the Egyptian Premier League at the beginning of the 2007–08 season, following a long absence.[1]
Leader of El Zamalek and former player of the Egypt national football team, Hussein Abdel Latif, ascended to the league again after major conflict with the teams level. Aluminium tries in the championship this season to provide a good standard. The main goal of the group is the lack of landing once again to the league Section II with the end of the season. The club may have once been a successful club during 1969-1978, when they qualified for the CAF semi-final but losing against Al Ahly 5-2 in aggregate. The team have made some matches notable to history in the 1969/1970 season, when they won El zamalek ( The club who one the league during this season back then ) in the league 4-2. Also they won El Ismaily 4-0. They have also played two international friendlies against: Fc Barcelona and AC Milan. They won the first match against FC Barcelona 3-1 which was a historical match which showed a good vision of Egyptian football, but they lost in their second match against Milan 0-3.
