TeenNick India is a television channel block on Nick Jr. India devoted to teens. It was part of Nickelodeon India franchise.
History
Nickelodeon India does not air live action Nickelodeon programming on the main channel and decided to launch those shows as part of a night time programming block in 2012 on Nick Jr. India.[2] Later, it started showing animated Nickelodeon programming like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Nick HD+ launched in 2015 also had some live action programming.
The block was poorly treated by Nick India and was shut down on 1 February 2017, making Nick Jr. a 24-hour channel. All live action shows were removed from the network including those aired on Nick HD+. Even though the network said the block moved to Nick HD+ it is only showing animated Nickelodeon programming.[3] Some live action shows were made available on the Voot streaming service.
