TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Limited has changed its name to TCL Electronics Holdings Limited ("TCL Electronics").
TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Limited is a Chinese company based in Shenzhen (but incorporated in the Grand Cayman, the Cayman Islands; listed in Hong Kong) which manufacture television and other consumer electronics. It is a subsidiary of TCL Corporation for 52.10% shares (via "TCL Industries Holdings (HK) Ltd."). Leshi Zhixin (via HK incorporated "Letv ZhiXin Investment (HK) Ltd."), an associate company of Le.com, also owned 20.09% shares.[1][2]:44
TCL Multimedia's Hong Kong headquarters was in 13/F, TCL Tower, 8 Tai Chung Road, Tsuen Wan, the New Territories.
History
TCL Multimedia was the television arm of TCL Corporation. It had joint venture in Argentina, which TCL Multimedia subscribed the capital increase in 2017.[3] A proposed name change of the company was also announced in the same year.[4]
In the past the company also have business cooperation with Leshi Zhixin, but did not continued as of 2017.[5]
