The Sydney Review of Books is online literary magazine established in 2013.[1][2]

According to the journal's editor James Ley it was created to address shortcomings in Australian book reviews.[3][1]

According to its website, it is funded by the Australia Council, Arts NSW, and Western Sydney University's Writing and Society Research Centre.[4]
