Swabi (Pashto and Urdu: صوابۍ) or Sawabai is the capital of Swabi District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.[2] It is located near the bank of the Indus River.[3]

History

Near Swabi is the settlement of Hund, which was one of the historical capitals of ancient Gandhara.

Climate

Swabi has a warm and temperate climate. With hot, humid summers and mild winters, Swabi features a humid subtropical climate (Köppen Cwa).
