Sultan Pur Noon is a village situated in Bhalwal, Sargodha District, in Punjab, Pakistan.[1]
Sultan Pur Noon is inhabited by over 28,000 people. It is a self-sustained community, having schools, medical clinics, blacksmiths, carpenters, traditional craftsmen in leather arts, clay arts, etc. The village is surrounded by citrus, Malta, Kinnoo, Oranges orchards. The date and mango orchards are over a hundred years old.[2]
It was settled in the nineteenth century by the people from different areas, majority of the people were from Mitha Tiwana in Khushab District, to cultivate the lands. Sultan Pur Noon is one of the fifteen villages named after the elders of Noon family. Other villages are Alipur Noon, Nurpur Noon, Sardar Pur Noon and Zaffer Abad Noon.[3][2]
