Sudama Prasad is an Indian politician who is a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly representing Tarari constituency in Bhojpur district as a member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation.

Prasad was first elected to 15th Bihar Assembly after defeating Gita Pandey, the wife of the previous incumbent Sunil Pandey, by a narrow margin of 296 votes in the 2015 Bihar elections.He is one of three CPI(ML-L) MLAs who won seats in the election.[1]

Prasad is a member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation party's state committee.[2]

Prasad campaigned for Jignesh Mevani in his successful campaign for the Vadgam assembly constituency during the 2017 Gujarat elections.[3]
