The boat was built by Sonata Yachts in Australia, who completed 40 examples.[1]

Design

The Sonata 6.7 is a small recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass. It has a fractional sloop rig, an internally-mounted spade-type rudder and a fixed fin keel. It displaces 2,544 lb (1,154 kg) and carries 952 lb (432 kg) of ballast.[1]

The boat has a draft of 4.92 ft (1.50 m) with the standard keel. There was a lifting keel version produced as well.[1]
