Soar Valley College is a co-educational comprehensive secondary school in Leicester, England. The school was designated a Maths and Computing specialist college in September 2004. As part of the Building Schools for the Future initiative, the old college building has been torn down and turned into the playing fields, and a new Soar Valley building has been built on the previous playing fields. The new building, cost approximately £21.5 million. The college hosted the Special Olympics netball games in the summer of 2009 in their newly built netball courts, on the other side of the campus from the newly-built school. As of 2017, the principal is Julie Robinson, and the vice principal is Roger Macdougall. The school was turned into a co-educational college, in 2016, and has a structure of land spreading as far as one acre.[1]
