Silginy [ɕilˈɡinɨ] (German: Sillginnen)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Barciany, within Kętrzyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north-west of Barciany, 23 km (14 mi) north-west of Kętrzyn, and 71 km (44 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 140.
