Currently this seat belongs to Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Swati Singh who won in last Assembly election of 2017 Uttar Pradesh Lagislative Elections defeating Samajwadi Party candidate Anurag Yadav by a margin of 34,179 votes.[1]
