Sanjivani : A Medical Boon is an Indian television serial that was first aired on STAR Plus in the year 2002. A sequel to Sanjivani, Dill Mill Gaye, aired on Star One from 2007 to 2010.

Plot

Sanjivani : A Medical Boon narrates a story about four medical interns (Dr.Juhi Singh, Dr. Rahul Mehra, Dr. Simran Chopra and Dr. Omi Joshi). All of them have joined Sanjivani Hospital as interns when the serial begins. The serial narrates the story of how these four come into a difficult and demanding profession. They have high ideals, passion, energy – and a degree of naïveté about their work. They bring a breath of fresh air to the hospital.

The story takes us through how these four doctors face the trials and tribulations in life to fight a constant battle against diseases and death of patients. The story is more like the tale of the lives of people who are regarded as miracle workers – but who are actually only human, with families, lives and emotions of their own.

The serial then revolves around the challenges these doctors face in their professional and personal life. Also, the chemistry shown between Dr. Juhi Singh Gurdeep Kohli and Dr. Rahul Mehra Mihir Mishra is amazing. How these doctors fight for their passion and profession, despite their challenges is very well depicted in this series.

At the very end, Dr. Juhi Singh finishes her narration of this story to the fresh batch of interns in the Sanjivani Hospital.
