Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya Teghari Kailali (SAMT) is a school run under the Nepalese Army Welfare Fund. It is located in the Kailali district of Western Nepal. The ^[1] present principal is Mr. Ashok Raj Khati. The present liaison officer is Mr Nauratam Paudel.This school is one of the most famous as well as best school of far western development region of nepal. this school was established on 10th of chaitra 2068 BS by commander in chief Mr. Chhatraman Singh Gurung.

Establishing military schools and colleges in various places of the country, the Nepalese Army has developed the appropriate environment for the quality of education of the children and non-soldiers to achieve quality education. Establishing at least one military colleges in every state, with the principal objective of providing quality education to the children of the gross status of the army, Goddess VDC No. of Kaliali district under the State No. 7 with the main objective of providing quality education.
