Ritmo Perfeito (English: Perfect Rhythm) is the second studio album by Brazilian pop singer Anitta.[1][2] Its release took place on June 3, 2014 by Warner Music, simultaneously with its first album and live DVD, Meu Lugar. The album brings different songs of the first album homonymous. Ritmo Perfeito features rappers MC Guime and Projota, that one also wrote the songs "Cobertor" and "Mulher", a re-work of his original song.

The album follows the same genre as their first album, being they pop and the electropop with more influences of funk melody and R&B. The album is an alternative version of the album Live Meu Lugar, with songs of the CD in studio version.

Composition

Anitta announced in July 2013 that she would be preparing the recording of her first DVD, which would later be titled Meu Lugar.[3][4] For the special show, that had great production, the singer created new songs, unpublished, that would be presented in the show.[5] Sometime later, Anitta announced in one of her YouTube videos "Blá Blá Blá" with Anitta" that she would release 2 new albums, one would be live, with audio extracted from the DVD Meu Lugar and another that would be the studio version of the new songs sung in the DVD, in addition to an unpublished one, that was not presented in the show, this album would become the Ritmo Perfeito.[6]

Anitta collaborated with new writers on the second studio album, among them is rapper Projota, who worked on the songs "Cobertor" and "Mulher" which is a version of the song of the rapper, with participation of Anitta. Umberto Tavares also participated in the composition of some tracks.[7]

Divulgation

Ritmo Perfeito was released on radios and TV programmes, in the beginning were released two songs of the project that were released in iTunes, but in version live.[8][9] The first song released exclusively for the album was "Cobertor"[10] which had a music video released by surprise in its YouTube account. A month later the second single was released, "Na Batida".[11] The album got gold record by ABPD.[12]
