Ripple Lane TMD was a Traction Maintenance Depot located to the south of Castle Green, London, England. The railway depot was located in the marshalling yard between Dagenham Dock and Barking stations.[3]
The depot code was RL.
History
Before its closure in 1993, British Rail Class 08 shunters, Class 47,[4] Class 20,[5] 37 locomotives[6] and Class 43 Warships could be seen at the depot.[7]
