Ravi Singh (born March 31, 1972) is an Indian film actor, best known for his work in Malayalam cinema and Bollywood. Ravi Singh is well known as the Actor of Malayalam Movie Tiyaan 2017 [5]. He has also acted in a few Hindi Television soap opera.

Personal life

Ravi Singh was born in Delhi, India to Mr. Puran Singh and Smt. Chandra Singh.

Career

Bollywood debut - 2014

Ravi Singh started his Career in 1993 as production manager in Delhi. In year 1997, he joined theatre group (Daira Cultural group) as an actor. In the year 2001 he shifted to Mumbai and started working in films and TV serials. He acted in Bolo Raam, Mastang Mama, Red Alert: The War Within, Kuch Khel Kuch Masti, Hazaron Khwahishein Aisi, Bharat Bhagya Vidhata and Prem Jaal.But none of the films were hits .

Later he did many Bollywood Movies like Koyelaanchal directed by Ashu Trikha,[6] Director Ahishor Solomon's John Day (film),[7] Vipul Shah's Commando,[8] Ram Gopal Varma's Department (film)[9] and Ashu Trikha's Enemmy.[10] he played antagonist in most of these films but none of them gave him recognition as an actor.After which he took a break.

Television serials

His notable works include Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan , Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai and Savdhaan India along with a few more series .

Malayalam films (2017-Present)

He acted in Jiyen Krishnakumar's Malayalam Movie Tiyaan which rose him into fame and marked his debut in Malayalam Cinema.[11] .He has acted in Painting Life directed by Dr. Biju, starring Prakash Bare and Geetanjali Thapa among others. In the movie he has played the pivotal role of a cinematographer. He has also signed Biju Menon 's Padayottam [12] in which he plays the antagonist.
