Ralph Alvarez

Ralph Álvarez (born 1955 in Cuba) is a Cuban-American businessman and the former President and Chief Operations Officer of McDonald's Corporation. Alvarez earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami in Florida.[1]

Álvarez previously served as President of McDonald's North America and before that was President of McDonald's USA and Chief Operations Officer of McDonald's USA.

He graduated from the University of Miami in 1976 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Citing health reasons, Álvarez announced his retirement from McDonald's effective December 31, 2009.

As of December 2012, Alvarez now sits on the board of directors for Dunkin' Donuts.
