Rahul Chaudhari is an Indian professional Kabaddi player. He started playing Kabaddi as a Defender but later on became a Raider. He is a member of the Indian National Kabaddi team that won gold medal in the 2016 South Asian games. He is the main raider for his Franchise Team Telugu Titans. He is the first player and raider to score 700+ points in Pro Kabaddi League. He represented India in the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup.

Early life

Rahul Chaudhari was born in Bijnor district. With no initial support, he emerged as a professional kabaddi player. He also captained Indian Kabaddi team in 2014 during Beach Asian games in Phuket, Thailand. His talent was identified by his coach Uday Kumar and later he was selected for his Telugu Titans team of PKL.

Pro Kabaddi League

Rahul is the captain of Telugu Titans team in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). He had the second most raid points in Season 1 (151) after Anup Kumar (155). Rahul scored 98 raid points in the second season and 87 in the third season. Rahul was adjudged the best raider of season 4 after finishing the season with a whopping 146 raid points, the highest in season 4. Rahul holds the record for the most number of raid points (666),(44) tackle points and total points (710) in the history of Pro Kabaddi.[1]
