Radio Pakistan Toronto (Urdu: ریڈیو پاکستان ٹورنٹو) is a 24-hour Internet Radio station which serves the Pakistani community in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.[1] It also broadcasts Monday to Friday on CJSA-FM 101.3 to the Greater Toronto Area from 07:00 pm to 09:00 pm EST.[2] Radio Pakistan Toronto serves features music, news and local community content. Although it is named after Radio Pakistan, the station is independent.
History
Radio Pakistan Toronto was established by Arshad Bhatti, a professional Pakistani broadcaster having over 15 years of experience. He had served with Radio Pakistan in different capacities both in engineering and production until 2002. Born in Multan, Arshad Bhatti acquired a master's degree in Political Science and Post Graduation Diploma in Mass Communication.
