The Queen City Cup is a regular season series between American soccer clubs Charlotte Independence of Charlotte, North Carolina and FC Cincinnati of Cincinnati, Ohio. Both teams compete in the Eastern Conference of the United Soccer League, the second tier of soccer in the United States. The team's cities are both nicknamed Queen City. The winner of the regular season series wins the cup for that year.
The current cup holders are FC Cincinnati who have defeated Charlotte Independence on goal differentials in back to back seasons.[1],[2]
