Parookaville (PV), also ParookaVille, is a three-day-long Music festival, playing Electronic dance music. Its debut in 2015 attracted 25,000 people to the town of Weeze. The festival consisted of five stages with over 80 DJs.[2] The event took place at a former British Royal Air Force-Base, which is part of Airport Weeze. The same 65,000 square metres (700,000 sq ft) area is used for the Bizarre-Festival and Q-Base-Festival.[3]

In 2016 50,000[1] people attended the second edition of the festival. All tickets sold out after three days.

The third edition's (2017) 80,000 tickets sold out in less than two days.[4] The festival area was re-designed and increased, so that the area could accommodate all visitors. The former mainstage was re-used as a side-stage while a new 110m long mainstage was constructed on a newly developed 43,000m² area.[5] Over 60,000 tons of gravel and topsoil was moved[6] to allow the mainstage to be constructed. More than 200 DJs played on ten stages. The official Parookaville 2017 hymn "Lessons" was produced by German DJs Moguai and Younotus and featured by Spanish singer Nico Santos.[6]
