Acid house party

An acid house party was a type of illegal party typically staged in warehouses in 1987–89. In the United Kingdom, the most famous illegal party promoters were Genesis'88, Sunrise, and Energy. Eventually the acid house parties morphed into the modern rave scene.[1]
