History

Olive Township was organized in 1836.[4]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 18.15 square miles (47.0 km2), of which 18.08 square miles (46.8 km2) (or 99.61%) is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 km2) (or 0.44%) is water.[3]
