Nguyễn Quang Hải (born 12 April 1997) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Hanoi in Vietnamese V.League 1, at the age of 21, he has been labelled one of the best young player in the asia.[1]

International career

On 13 June 2017, Hải made his international debut for the Vietnam senior team, against Jordan, in a match that ended in a 0–0 draw.[2] He scored his first goal for Vietnam in a match Vs Cambodia On 5 September 2017.[3]

He became popular during 2018 AFC U-23 Championship, as he was instrumental for leading U-23 Vietnam to their first ever final in the history of Vietnam in any AFC tournaments. During the tournament, he scored five goals, and the goal on the final against Uzbekistan, which he kicked across the defense line of Uzbekistan under heavy snowfall,[4] had been voted as the best goal in the tournament.[5]
