Navraj Hans is a Punjabi actor, singer, entrepreneur, cricket player and a performer. He is the son of Hans Raj Hans and son-in-law of Daler Mehndi. Navraj Hans is acclaimed for his thrilling vocals, videos and live performances. He has established himself as one of the most popular and high profiled celebrity in Punjabi industry. He is an emerging youth style icon. He made his cinematic debut as the highest paid newcomer in Punjabi cinema.
Musical career
Navraj Hans has done playback singing for several Bollywood and Punjabi movies. His superhit song "Saiyaan" by Sony Music India, featured in the Punjabi movie Burrraahh.[1] His other famous song was Jind meriye from Bollywood movie Purani Jeans.[2] In 2016, he sang " Sadi Rail Gaddi" in Prabhu Deva& Sonu Sood's movie Tutak Tutak Tutiya. In 2018, he sang "Chote Chote Peg" Remake with Neha Kakkar & Yo Yo Honey Singh for Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh, "Mundiyaan Tu Bachke" Remake with Palak Muchhal for Baaghi 2 composed by Sandeep Shirodkar & "Rangdaari" with Arko Pravo Mukherjee for Daas Dev composed by Arko Pravo Mukherjee.
Acting career
Since 2013, Navraj has appeared in many Punjabi feature films. His acting debut was in Marriage Da Garriage.[3] In 2015, his film Punjabian Da King[4] was released. He is also acting in Punjabi film Dil Le Gayi Kudi Punjab Di and Bollywood film Band Of Maharajas.[5]

Navraj's vocal range spans 3 octaves. Critics highlights his tone as particularly distinctive and powerful, describing his voice to have strange rhythmic vocal style, but also finds him quite traditionalist in his use of runs, riff and vocal acrobatics He has received co-writing credits for most of the songs.
Influences
Navraj names Hans Raj Hans and Daler Mehndi as his major musical influences. Aged 14, Navraj attended his first ever concert where Daler Mehndi performed and he claims to have realised his purpose. He admires Daler Mehndi as an all-around entertainer and Hans Raj Hans, who he said inspired me to get up there and do what he did. He credits father Hans Raj Hans's singing and his song Haal Ve Rabba- lutti heer ve fakir di as influencing him to begin practicing vocal runs as a young child. His other musical influences include Michael Jackson and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
