The National Technology Council (Urdu: قومی فنی انجمن; acronym NTC) is a professional body under the administrative control of Higher Education Commission (Pakistan).[1] NTC accredits engineering technology degree programs in Pakistan.[2][3][4] It also registers engineering technologists across the country.

Akbar Saeed Awan and Kauser Abdulla Malik are the chairman and vice chairman of the council respectively.[5]

Registration of Engineering Technologists

NTC registers engineering technology graduates in following two categories[6] :

Graduate Engineering Technologist

Graduates in any discipline of Engineering Technology approved by HEC with degree titles of BSc Engineering Technology/B.Tech honors/BS Technology/BE Technology/BSc Technology are eligible for registration as Graduate Engineering Technologist.

Professional Engineering Technologist

Graduates in any discipline of Engineering Technology approved by HEC with degree titles of BSc Engineering Technology/B.Tech honors/BS Technology/BE Technology/BSc Technology with minimum five years relevant engineering technology experience after acquiring degree are eligible for registration as Professional Engineering Technologist.
