The Military Brass Band of the Commandant Regiment of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan also known in the West as the Military Band of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan, is the official regimental military band of the commandant reginent of the Ministry of Defence of Tajikistan.[3] The band performs a series of tasks, including entertainment. The band participates in activities with the national army, and in various state concerts and celebrations. Also in the military brass regiment is the karnaists’s orchestra band’s. Its repertoire consists of Anthems of other countries, and as well as military music.[3][4]

Structure

The band's main ensemble is made up over 200 musicians. It is also made up 200 additional musicians in the band of the guard of honor and the bands of the regional garrisons.[5]

The band participates in many events in military and civilian settings.[6][7]

Ceremonies

  • Welcoming Ceremonies: Held in the Palace of Nations in Dushanbe. The band plays the national anthem of Tajikistan and the guest. It works with the Honor Guard Company of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan.[8]
  • Inauguration Ceremonies: Held in honor of the inauguration of the President of Tajikistan.

Parades

The orchestra participates in the annual Victory Day parade, as well as the Independence Day an Army Day parades.[9][10]
