Milenko Topić (Serbian Cyrillic: Миленко Топић; born March 6, 1969) is a Serbian basketball coach and former player. He currently works as an assistant coach for Crvena zvezda of the Basketball League of Serbia, the ABA League and the EuroCup.

Playing career

Topić played at the power forward position for several clubs in his country and abroad, in Italy and Greece. Topić was also a member of the Yugoslav national team at four major tournaments during the 1990s.[1]

Coaching career

Topić spent the 2015–16 season working as an assistant coach for the Hungarian team SZTE-Szedeák.

On July 21, 2017, Topić joined Crvena zvezda coaching staff after Serbian coach Dušan Alimpijević become their head coach for the 2017–18 season.[2] On May 8 2018, he became a interim head coach for the Zvezda after Alimpijević was sacked.[3][4] On May 10, he made his debut in a 84–74 home win against Borac Čačak.[5] In July 2018, Milan Tomić became the head coach for Crvena zvezda while Topić was moved back to the assistant coach role.
