MeetYourMakers (MYM or mYm) is an esports organization based in Germany - Now based in Sweden as of 2017. It competes in League of Legends (LoL), Dota 2, StarCraft II, and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. MYM was founded in 2001.

MYM dropped their WarCraft III team in 2009.^[1]

In July 2015 MeetYourMakers was involved in an incident where the team manager threatened to take Marcin "Kori" Wolski's house away as a result of his leaving the team.^[2][3][4][5] After the dissolution of their previous LoL team they acquired League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) team Supa Hot Crew.^[6]

In the history of MYM, players and teams from MYM were featured with awards like “eSports player of the year”, “eSports team of the year” and more founder Brian M Layne. MYM won more than 400 titles at important major events around the world, including the World Cyber Games (WCG) and the Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC).

During 2008 MeetYourMakers sponsored the "Golden Five" Polish Counter-Strike players Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas, Filip "NEO" Kubski, Łukasz "LUq" Wnęk, Mariusz "loord" Cybulski, and Jakub "Kuben" Gurczyński, and this team was one of the best teams in the world at the time, winning tournaments such as DreamHack Summer 2008 and ESWC 2008.

History

In 2000, the Dane Mark Peter "Mercy" Fries founded the organization Meet Your Makers, the first time publicly made its appearance in 2001. 2002, the decision was made to rebuild Meet Your Makers to a professional organization.

Meet Your makers, in 2005/2006, pioneered Esports by attracting the first venture capital company to invest in an Esports team and additionally took in 5-6 corporate investors, where one of them was the famous dane Preben Damgaard who previously sold his Navision company to Microsoft for $1.45 billion. The team behind Meet Your Makers and the investors together founded the company Regroup eSports A / S, which was' renamed on 16 July 2008 in ESNation A / S beginning of August 2006 joined MYM unification G7 Teams at.

The Warcraft III Department has always been considered the flagship of Meet Your Makers. MYM players have reached many high rankings in various international leagues and tournaments, such as the ESL WC3L Series, the NGL ONE and World Cyber Games. On June 6, 2012: the Meet Your Makers was sold by the FIO Systems AG to a private investor and registered as a limited company. 'Khaled Naim' acts since as managing director of Meet Your Makers GmbH.

June 2014: Meet Your Makers GmbH cooperates with the hmf Group (Mannheim), which constitute an integral marketing partner and support in the operational sales.

October 2014: currently owns Meet Your Makers team in Fifa 14 Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm and Battlefield 4

January 2017:Michael Bookes left the organisation which resulted in Tim Olsson as the new Manager due to legal conflicts and ownership rights to the brand.
